Birdwatchers will delight in the wide variety of winded beasts to see at Juanita Bay Park. The 110-acre urban wildlife habitat area consists of five major plant communities, including wet meadow, marsh, open water and wetland.

Getting There

From I-90: if you’re coming from the west of Lake Washington, take exit 10A to I-405 N toward Bothell/Everett. If you’re coming from the east of Lake Washington, take exit 10 to 1-405 N toward Everett.

Continue on I-405 for a little over 9 miles then take exit 20A on the right to get on NE 116th St. Stay on NE 116th St for approximately a mile and a half. At the intersection, head to the right on NE Junaita Drive. After about a mile and a half, turn left at the park sign.

This trailhead is accessible by bus! Plan your visit by bus using TOTAGO, or consult the schedules for King County Metro route numbers 230/231 and 255.

Get off at 98th Ave NE & NE 116th St.
