A hike named after Nawang Gombu, Jim Whittaker's partner in his first ascent of Everest. Connect it with the Whittaker Wilderness Peak trail for a long loop with historical significance, or continue into the park and explore many other trails in this area near Issaquah.

Getting There

From I-90, take Exit 15 and drive south on highway 900 for a little over 3 miles. Look for the trailhead sign and an asphalt driveway that goes uphill to the right.
