Wonderful Father's Day hike up to Lost Lake. This was a very pleasant rolling trail, and the miles just seemed to fly by without too much effort. Parking and privies readily available at the trailhead. The sound of moving water was our constant companion (and so were the mosquitos!). I especially loved all of the sturdy footbridges across the river with glimpses of small waterfalls here and there. The trail was mostly shaded which was appreciated on such a hot day. We stopped briefly at Quinn Lake to admire the stunning turquoise color of the water (pictured below) and then continued up to Lost Lake for a good long lunch break. There was one river crossing where the bridge it out that was a bit sketchy and could pose difficulty for kids and folks with mobility issues (photo below for reference). The logs to cross were very wet (some were unstable), but someone has placed a rope to use as a handhold which was helpful. Loved this hike and would consider returning for an overnight or to visit Echo Lake.
