Holman Pass (on PCT) to Sky Pilot Pass only.  There are half a dozen significant blowdowns.  We swamped them out and made detours.  They are now only moderate obstacles.  USFS (or someone) is keeping this trail open;  large logouts a coupla years old.  The new ones are recent and showed no sign of anyone trying to clean them up.  One might expect similar conditions going west to Devil's Pass.

Water plentiful up to Sky Pilot Pass; all 3 marked streams running well.

Canyon Ck ford was easy barefoot.  Some gullied trails around there but it's mostly good tread.

From Sky Pilot Pass, followed the path south towards Center Mt. and Chancellor only half a mile or so.  Easy enough to follow (it mostly follows a ridge).  In Sept. 2012, I hiked north from Chancellor to Sky Pilot Pass, and recall many blowdown climbing up the ridge to Center Mt., but they were mostly  stepovers and the trail was easy to follow then, and the Canyon Ck ford north of Chancellor was not too challenging and a defensible cairn marked the start of the trail.  This is a delightful route.

Bivvied on the knob south of Sky Pilot Pass.  360 degree view including all of our PCT route from Slate Pk to Rock Pass.
